Lunch with "The Fun Bunch"

Bailey's pups are just four weeks old and experimenting with their first puppy food...

Lunch is sure taking a long time...

Horton and Truffula dive right in!

With Cindy Lou waiting patiently for her turn

This is only the pups second meal ever and they are taking to it relatively enthusiastically! It's not Green Eggs and Ham, but a puree of organic goat's milk, kibble and freeze-dried raw mix from "Honest Kitchen".

"Sam I Am":  I would not eat it in a house, I would not eat it with a mouse...

There are still some bits at the bottom that require teeth!

I would not like them here or there.
I would not like them anywhere.

Not surprisingly, the pups have considerable artistic flair!

Checking the baseboards, just in case anything tasty fell out of the dishwasher

Mama Bailey needs to wash some sticky faces after lunch!

A runny yolk?

"The Brownie Bites" are happy to help out with the holiday fun...

Brownie Bites-- Making Friends

"The Brownie Bites" are exceptional  in how alert and sociable they are at the young age of 4 weeks. When we come near their box they storm the sides with tiny bottoms wagging. And they don't take their eyes off of us. (And it is just a matter of time before they figure out why we keep opening the large shiny stainless steel door, conveniently in view.)

Luna's experienced Guardian family help us with socializing... and with capturing photos!

Watch out (These guys do not miss a beat...)

Lucky Girls

Stella's "Lucky Charms" have had lots of visitors this week! Our Guardian Families play an important role and we are grateful for their help in socializing puppies.

"Deirdre" is the mellowest of the girls and has fallen asleep in a child's lap

Rose has really gotten lucky and found a hoof in her Mama's bed
