Chanel and Topper's Box of Chocolates

At about 14-16 days of age, the pups start to crack their eyes open, and their ears unseal, which makes the world a much more interesting place!

First one to peek out!
Cosmo is the "self-appointed" Puppy-sitter for these babies
Certainly, these puppies are particularly cute...but we do not understand Cosmo's particular attachment to them.
...and they are not even spilling food to clean up yet!
"Back into the puppy-pile, little one!"

Grace and Sam's Pups Welcome the New Year

Our beautiful "Winter Solstice" ("Grace", who came from our "Winter Blessings" litter in 2012, welcomed her first litter with Cherry Sam-I-Am in the final days of 2014. Grace is the proud and affectionate mother of 6 boys and 3 girls!

Even just minutes old, pups are instinctively programmed to suckle
Grace had the first 6 pups in only an hour and a quarter--She needs a vanilla ice cream "pick-me-up"!
Even though it is her first experience with mothering, Grace is right on top of things! A natural!

Even at just minutes-old, healthy pups know instinctively to get to work suckling

This big curly girl is a pro herself!
And her curly black brother is also a foodie
Still so tiny, the pups will double and triple their birthweights in the first couple of weeks!
The pups have coats like black satin
This boy is sniffing the strange air outside
A "smile"?  Or just a burp ;-)

Male Breeding Prospect For Qualified Breeder

"Golden Gate Jamboree"

born: May 6th, 2015

Manor Lake Apollo x NW Australian Royal Chocolate Brownie (Both parents with PennHIP scores >90th% and registered with ALCA & ALAA, IC clear, other testing results available upon request). Click on photos and pedigrees below to view full size.

"Jambo"

From a repeat litter from exceptional therapy-lines, with 2 pups from the prior litter working with practicing therapists as their "office dogs" and one doing hospice work.

Solid boning, with a broad and deep chest, ("Jambo" is a tank), broad head and muzzle, saber tail, and a chocolate (likely CafĂ© at maturity) fleece coat. Likely 38-40 lbs. full grown (13 lbs at 10 weeks). Dam carries for cream, Sire does not (25% chance of carrying for cream).

Like his sire "Apollo" (aka "Roscoe"), Jambo is not too cerebral.  No... not really a deep thinker at all, and, consequently is on the more "bombproof" end of the temperament scale. He is outgoing, but also affectionate and cuddly, without being needy or  in-your-face. In new environments he will explore, check back in, explore, check back in...

An all-around "chill" dood

Beloved Brownie

See Brownie and Roscoe's prior litter "The Brownie Bites". Parent's testing available upon request.
$10K with terms offered to qualified breeders with
written references from established breeders. For me, a puppy is not "breeding quality" until it tests out to be breeding quality. I do not like to force another breeder into buying a breeding prospect at full price from me unless it is the puppy originally purchased.  (Reasonable and flexible) breeding restrictions for first 2 years. Please call for more information. 650-576-9068

Holiday Gifts (Thank Your Chanel & Topper!)

Golden Gate Glamour Girl aka "Chanel" became a proud mama (for the second time) with our studly Hudson's The Topper. Six chocolate babies (4 girls and 2 boys) are all very similar in their chocolate-y good-looks just like their big brothers and sisters who were born last year (Angels With Dirty FacesShake A Leg) .

Chanel knows "it's 'time'!"
Firstborn: It's a Boy!
Bibi, our resident Labra-Doula watches the proceedings intently in case anyone needs her assistance
Barely dry after being born, the pups know just what to do

All warm and dry!
