A Hunk'a Hunk'a Burnin' Love

Now that their eyes and ears are open, Vixen's pups are fully attuned to goings on in the kitchen...

Wishing for opposable thumbs to operate the fridge door mechanism

Vixen now can stand up now to accommodate the pups more easily

Ever inquisitive, the pups are interested in the autofocus lens tht retracts and extends with that funny whirring noise

Even at such a tender age, these pups are sociable and so interested in people

The pups like to mix it up ...but in very slow motion

Mama encourages the little ones to eat up

But she has no problem with cleaning up afterwards

Even though the pups are lapping up water from a bowl, milk is still a big part of their daily sustenance

Wake Up! Red Alert!!!

Vixen's pups are (I hate to say this) not very much fun to watch. Yes, they are very, very cute, with lovely wrinkly heads and black squishy noses!  But, they are very, very..."subdued." That is, they really sleep A LOT.  Part of this contentment is undoubtedly the excellent care that mama Vixen takes in keeping them well-fed!

The pups are getting some early socialization from Caidy's Guardian family who are visiting today.

Fast Food For The Poetry Club

Haiku's pups make very short work of their first meal of puppy formula and mashed kibble!  And seemed to have been left wanting more...

  

Any uncertainty as to the purpose of the fragrant mush was quickly put to rest!
